Identity / 2008


BRIEF
To create the identity for the UK Roots Movement record label. The symbol needed to represent the fun nature of the founding members and portray their style and intentions.

SOLUTION
The logo is constructed of elements relating to the label. An illustrated vintage gramophone with roots breaking from it’s underbelly that loosely depict musical notes. A firm and classic word marque ties the symbol together. A website was also designed and the labels merchandise is also under construction.
